<p><span>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Patricia Tarbett announce her passing on Sunday, March 5<sup>th</sup>, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: William "Skip" (Cindy), Peter (Laura), Jerry (Holly) and Shawn (Sheila); daughters Debbie (Frank) Walbourne, Betty (Ray) Murphy, Marie (Larry) DuHart and Coreina (Karl) Layden; son-in-law Brian Brett; 26 grandchildren, a large circle of great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Leaving to mourn her passing as well are her siblings, Peggy Gillam, Florence Frances, Shirley MacDonald and Roy Ryan; son by heart, Joseph "Butch" (Carol) Tarbett; sister-in-law Maisie Tarbett; special caregiver Carla Gale; special friends Priscilla Boutcher and Theresa "Toots" Lee; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William, daughter Rita Brett, daughter-in-law Shirley Tarbett, granddaughter Lori Kilgour, special parents Annie and Jerry Scanlon; infant grandson Jay Tarbett and great infant grandson Jack Murphy. The family would like to express their gratitude to Father Edward Terry, Father Andrew White and Father Chris Mekala, as well as the Doctors and Nurses at Western Memorial Hospital. <span>&nbsp;</span>Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9<sup>th</sup> at 10:00 A.M. from All Hallows Church, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NL Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Lung Association.
