<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Maud Rowe</strong> announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Elsie (Wince) Crewe, Hubert (Lorraine), Judy (Joe) Keough, Gwen (Clev) Rodway, and Susan (Rod) Antle; Nanny Maud will be forever remembered and loved by her 12 grandchildren: Heather (Jamie), Sara (Shannon), Allison, Aaron (Heidi), Whitney (Keith), Melanie (Trevor), Melissa (Paul), Joshua, Kyle (Megan), Erika, Ryan and Andrew; great grandchildren: Morgan Grace, Isla, Eva, Eliza, Madis, and Jude; sisters: Mildred Lockyer (Gil), and Jessie Humber; beloved niece Jean (Eric predeceased) Brake, sister in-law: Sheila Best,&nbsp;and a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert; parents Charles and Elsie Best; siblings Frank (Millicent) &amp; (Lilly) Best, Clev (Toots) Best, Edgar Best, Violet (Abby) Warren, Mary (Louie) Goodyear, Elsie (Robert) Baker; brother&rsquo;s in-law: Robert Lockyer, Harvey Humber, Allan (Betty) Rowe, Fred (Madeline) Rowe; sister&rsquo;s in-law: Ethel (Carl) Pettipas, and Rosalie (Norm) Brake. Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service&nbsp;will take place on Friday, March 10 at 11: 00 a.m. from First United Church, Park Street with Rev John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to First United Church.
