She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Roy Wheeler; daughter Thelma Powell; adopted son Gary Wheeler; grandchildren: Debbie Layden, Coline Baillairge, Christy (Ben) Waring, Lisa Wheeler, Christina Wheeler, Desiree Wheeler, Paul Baillairge, James Wheeler and Cory Wheeler; great-grandchildren: Roy Layden, Patricia Layden, Paul Michael Baillairge, Derek Baillairge and Avery Baillairge; great-great-grandchildren: Calab Layden, Tucson and Corbin Ballairge; sister Vivian Kennell; brother Doug Cooper; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ellison Wheeler, daughter-in-law Coline Wheeler, sisters Dorothy, Myrtle and Lillian, brothers Allen and Jack. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Wendy Lowden officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice.
