<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda W. Soper announce her passing on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Rodger, Gregory (Gladys), Leah (James) and Jeffrey; granddaughter Ashley (Kalinka); sisters: Ada (John) O&rsquo;Reilly and Maisie Warford; brother Spencer (Rachel) Darrigan; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George Soper, parents Jeremiah and Rose Darrigan, sisters Mabel, Edna and Marilyn. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Curling Street with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church.
