Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: John Harris (Nora) of Mount Pearl, Dennis (Rose), and The Reverend Canon David Russell of Corner Brook;  grandchildren: Kimberly (David), Karen (Gregory), Kenneth, Shawn (Mindy), Jason (Martine),  and Jordan (Tiffany); great grandchildren: Kyan, Kayser, Kansas, Finn, and Evie; sister: Lulu (Jim) Baggs, of Mount Pearl; sister in -law: Irene Mercer of Trepassey; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: John; parents: John and Fannie Mercer; brothers: Harris and David; sister in -law: Gwen (John) Dawson; and parent’s in-law: Nathan and Marion Russell. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, March 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM from Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with The Very Rev Baxter D. Park and The Rev Canon David Russell officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church Fund.
