ALLEN Robert W. Curling, NL 1913 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Allen announce his passing at his residence on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 at the age of 92 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Floyd (Valda), Frazer (Patricia), Eric (Joyce) and Sam, all of Corner Brook; daughters: Ann (Herb) Davies, Nova Scotia, Lorena (Don) Monette and Eva (friend Chuck), Ontario; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; brother John; sisters: Sophie Bartlett, Audrey Collins, Corner Brook, Lena Simms and Nina Rock, Ontario; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen (nee Parsons); parents John and Frances Allen; sisters: Eva, Lilly, Winnifred, Mariah,grand-daughter Darlene and daughter-in-law Neta. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling, on Monday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m., Reverend John Hounsell-Drover officiating. Interment will follow from the Anglican Church Cemetery, Curling. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. Mary's Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
