<p><span>It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Nellie Louise (nee Jackson) Brockway announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 28<sup>th</sup>, 2017 at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook in her 81<sup>st</sup> year. Predeceased by her loving husband William (Bill) Brockway, her parents Ernest and Annie Jackson, sister Ada Best, Brother Clarence and sister-in-law Betty. Nellie leaves to mourn with loving and heartfelt memories her step-daughter Carole (Wayne) Barron, St. John&rsquo;s, stepson Christopher Brockway and grandson Cody, Ontario; sisters Kay (George) Hardy, Corner Brook, Mary (Glen) McLean, Halifax, NS, brother James (Gladys) Jackson, Corner Brook and brother-in-law Abe Best, St. John&rsquo;s, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends especially close friends Susie Norman and Marg Curtis. Very special thanks and deepest appreciation to niece Karen Costello and husband Bob and sister-in-law Gladys Jackson for your unwavering attention and support. Visitation Will take place at Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 p.m. from St. Marys Anglican Church, Curling with Reverend David Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. In memory of Nellie&rsquo;s life, donations may be made to St. Marys Anglican Church, where she provided many years of dedicated volunteer service.
