<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Richard James Sharpe</strong> announce his passing on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 52 years, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories the mother of his children Joanne Hamshere; his Precious Children: Lucy, James and Kate; sister: Peggy (Bill) Esler; brother: David (Sheila) Sharpe; niece: Patty (Curtis); great niece: Alexie; great nephew: Jacob, and great great nephew Will; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law.&nbsp;Jimmy will be sadly missed by many family and friends; He was predeceased by his parents: Don and Delilah Sharpe; brother&rsquo;s: Paul, Larry and Geoff.&nbsp; As per Jimmy&rsquo;s request Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8 from 7-9 PM. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
