<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Joan Budgell (nee Ross) announce her passing on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at the Long Term Care Unit of the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre in HVGB at the age of 90, after a long and valiant struggle with Alzheimer's/dementia.&nbsp; She leaves to mourn with fond memories, her daughter Rosalind Aylward (Tom) and grandsons Eric and Aidan Aylward, as well as many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eric Budgell, her sister Margaret Coonan, brother Donald Ross and parents Colonel Albert Ross and Molly Ross (Murphy) of Montreal. &nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</span></span><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">A memorial service will be held at the North West River United Church on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2pm.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the HVGB SPCA.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Barbara lived a long and adventurous life.&nbsp; She will be greatly missed and always remembered with love.&nbsp; Our deepest appreciation to the angels of the Protective Care Unit who cared for her so compassionately throughout her time there.</span></span></p>
