Robert William Crosbie Steady Brook, NL 1948 - 2008 The family of Robert William Crosbie sadly announce his death on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 59 years. Bob’s gift to the world was his cherished sons, Robert Renfrew (Renny) Crosbie (Laura), of Alberta and Sheldon Charles Crosbie, Pasadena. His wonderful sense of humor and piano renditions of “Mussel’s in the Corner” will always be sadly missed by his sister, Lin Crosbie-Marshall (Tom); brothers: Jeff Crosbie (Jennifer), Gregg Crosbie and by his nieces, nephews and other relatives. He will also be missed by his good friends in Steady Brook and elsewhere who were so kind to him. He was predeceased by his parents , Ruth and Ren Crosbie of Steady Brook. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. There will be no formal service. To reflect Bob’s love for trees, plants and flowers, donations in his memory to the Beautification fund - Town of Steady Brook would be greatly appreciated.
