<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Kathleen (Kate) Davis</strong></span><span style="font-size: medium;"> announce her peaceful passing on May 31, 2017 at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 85 years.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">She will be sadly missed by her best friend and partner, Ken Mesher.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Leaving to mourn with many loving memories, her children, Evelyn (Baxter) Learning of Winsor, ON, Jane (Larry) Hopkins of Stewart, BC, Mary Davis of Goose Bay, Joyce Elliott of Stewart, BC, Terry (Barb) Davis of Smithers, BC, Norman (Vera) Davis of Paradise River, NL, and</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">John (Audrey) Davis of Lloydminster, AB; grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig), Lori (Ward), Eugene (Crystal),Scott (Cari), Stacey (Brennan), Jennie (Jamie), Charles, Amanda (Adrian), Christa, Elva (Chad), Nick, Darrell (Denise), Tamara (Doug), Dennis (Amanda) and Tina, wife of Arthur (Deceased); 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">She was predeceased by her parents Gertrude and Norman Lethbridge,; brothers, Garland, Roland and John; sisters, Elizabeth and Ella; sons in law, Gursh and Terry; grandsons Arthur, John and George (twins).</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">The family would like to thank the staff at the Labrador Health Centre for their care and compassion.  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Resting at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 45 Aspen Drive on Sunday, June 4, 2017 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm and Monday 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Funeral service will be held on June 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm from St Andrew’s Anglican Parish with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Interment will follow at the Eagle River Cemetery.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">As expressions of sympathy, flowers are welcomed and/or donations in Kate’s memory can be made to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Please visit </span></span><a href="http://www.fillatres.ca/"><span style="color: #0563c1; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">www.fillatres.ca</span></a><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;"> to sign the online guest book.</span></p>
