It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Kinden announce her passing at the Captain William Jackman Hospital, Labrador City on Tuesday, February 14th, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn her passing are her four children: Lewis (Olga) Kinden, Netta Baker (Howard), Edith Freake (Ray) and Daisy Taylor (Roger); 10 precious grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Daisy Blunden and brother-in-law Morley Hynes, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Kinden. Visitation will take place from Fogo Island Funeral Home on Thursday, followed by the funeral service on Friday, February 17th at the United Church, Rev. Case officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook and Fogo Island Funeral Home.
