<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Nigel Saunders, age 65, passed away on June 26, 2017 at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.   </span><span style="font-size: medium;">He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Henry (Bella) and Melvin; sisters, Bridget (Max) Blake, Christine Saunders, Sharon Elder, Berdina (Ken) and Judy Saunders; sister-in-law, Margaret; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Ella Saunders and his brother, Chesley.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Friends may visit Fillatre Funeral Homes in Goose Bay on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 between 2 and 4 pm and 7 and 9 pm.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 29</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;"> at 2 pm from the United Church, HVGB with Rev Benjamin Adekunle officiating.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Labrador Health Centre for their care and compassion, and for the kindness of friends over the past few days. </span></span></p>
