BROWN - DROVER BERTHA “MAE” Yellowknife, NT (Formerly of Corner Brook, NL) It is with great sadness that the family of the Mae Brown Drover announce her passing on Saturday, February 11th, 2006 at Statton Regional Hospital, Yellowknife, NT at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn her passing and treasuring their memories are her children: Kay Cogle (Barry -Sealey), Charles Drover, Linda Drover, Sandra Winn (Drover), Brian Drover, Gerald Drover, Vera Ronan (Drover) and Joan Vincent (Drover); step-children: Muriel Lehman (Drover), Herbert Drover, Arthur Drover, Jessie Beattie (Drover), Walter Drover and Robert Drover; sister: Isobel; as well as a very large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Drover, September 6th, 1971. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street. Captains Scott and Michelle Rideout officiating. The service will conclude there. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Yellowknife Association of Concerned Citizens for Seniors for the New Aven Manor Dementia Facility. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca. The things we feel so deeply, are the hardest things to say. But we your family loved you in a very special way. They say that memories are golden, well that may be true. But, we never wanted memories we only wanted you. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane. We'd walk the path to heaven and bring you home again. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again
