Obituary of Duncan B. Abbott

ABBOTT Duncan B. 1921 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Duncan Abbott announce his passing on February 19th, 2006 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 84 years. He will be sadly missed by daughter Betty (Bill), Alberta; two grandchildren; brother Frederick (Marjorie), Happy Valley-Goose Bay; sister Lucy, Stephenville, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Clifford and Muriel Abbott; brother Claude and sister Iona. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Tuesday and Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Padden Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
