JOHN W. COX
1939 - 2006
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John W. Cox announce his sudden passing at his residence on Friday, February 10th, 2006 in his 66th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his sister Rita (John) Rose, with whom he resided in Rose Blanche and nephew Melvin (Tracey) Rose of Isle aux Morts, as well as a large circle of cousins and very close friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Emily Spicer in 1996. Visitation began on Saturday, February 11th at St. Michael's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche, from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 14th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Abbott officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
