<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Geraldine Margaret Lawless of Port au Choix announces her passing on August 29, 2017 after a lengthy stay in the Long-term Care facility at Rufus Guinchard Health Center Port Saunders, at the age of 87 years.</p> <p>She leaves to mourn children: Pius (Selma) Walsh of Port au Choix, Mary Jane (Danney) Perry of Hawkes Bay, Dulcie (Casey) House of River of Ponds, Marie Lawless of British Columbia, Elizabeth Sheppard (Gaden) of Labrador City, Noreen (Craig) Flynn of Forteau, Frank Lawless (Patty) of St. John's; nineteen grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; special friend Gert (Melvin) Eastman.  She was predeceased by husband William; son Christopher; parents James and Mary Jane (nee Sexton) Walsh; brothers: Bernard, Leo, Jerry, Peter, Vincent; and sisters: Nora Lavallee, Mary Crane.</p> <p> Visitation will take place at Fillatres' Funeral Home Port au Choix Wednesday 7 - 9PM and Thursday 2 - 4 & 7- 9PM with a family service on Thursday evening.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1st, 2:00PM at St. Theresa's RC Church in Port au Choix officiated by Father A. Raj, interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery Sandy Cove. </p> <p>Family and friends may visit the website at www.fillatre.ca to sign the guestbook, leave messages of condolence or donations <em>In Memory</em> to the Long-term Care facility at Rufus Guinchard Health Center Port Saunders.
