DYKE Clyde John Corner Brook, NL July 8th, 1922 - February 25th, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde John Dyke, formerly of Glovertown, NL announce his passing on Saturday, February 25th, 2006 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 84th year. Clyde was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Annie Barnes, mother Alfreda Dyke and father Jack Skiffington. Left to mourn are very special friends Bill and Ruth Broderick, with whom he resided, sons: Raymond (Donna), Etobicoke, ON and Brian (Zeta), Corner Brook; daughters Paula (Bill) Peddle, Corner Brook, Marilyn (John) Kempstger, Bedford, NS and Yvonne (Ken) Klein, Athabasca, AB. 8 grandchildren: Paula, Richard, Annie, Tannis, Lindsey, Curtis, Phillip and Bradley, 4 great-grandchildren: Alysha, Chanel, Olivia and Carter and good friend Chris. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at 11:00 AM from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
