<p> </p> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div> <div><strong>COUTU, Isabel Lottie</strong></div> <div><strong>(nee Blake)</strong></div> <div>Beloved wife of retired RCMP Cpl Pascal Stolan Coutu.</div> <div> </div> <div>Isabel Lottie passed away on September 24, 2017 at the Ottawa General Hospital. The youngest daughter of Judson and Mariah, she was born in North West River, Labrador. Isabel Lottie leaves to mourn</div> <div>her loving husband Pascal Stolan, her sister Virginia (Budgell), many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from Labrador to British Columbia.</div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <p> </p> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div>At a very early age, Isabel Lottie wanted to be a registered nurse, which she accomplished upon her graduation from the St. John's General Hospital School of Nursing.  She nursed in communities in Newfoundland and Northern Labrador, as well as with the Canadian Forces. Following her father's death she rejoined the Military and was posted to Zweibrucken, Germany.  Upon her return to Canada, she was posted to CFB Gagetown (Oromocto), New Brunswick where she met her husband Pascal Stolan and</div> <div>they enjoyed a wonderful forty-seven years together.</div> </div> </blockquote> <p> </p> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div> <div>Cremation has taken place, Isabel Lottie will be laid to rest in the RCMP section of the Beechwood National Military Cemetery in Ottawa in a private ceremony. A private family Celebration of Life will take place in her home community of North West River, Labrador at a later date.</div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <p> </p> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div> <div>Special thanks to the Medical Staff at the Ottawa General Hospital, especially those in the Emergency Department and at 5 North West.  Isabel Lottie was particularly comforted by the exceptional care she received from her oncologist Dr Bob MacRae of the Cancer Centre.</div> <div> </div> <div>Isabel Lottie was an angel on earth who has gone to heaven to receive her wings.</div> </div> </div> </blockquote>
