<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sterling A. Randell announce his passing on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Muriel (nee Smith); children: Joe (Norris), Elizabeth (David) Peddle and Gertrude (Robert) Bradbury; step-children: Rhonda (Charles) Copeland, Karen Reid (Sandy Walsh) and Chad Reid (Jan Webster); step-son-in-law Mike Martonfi; grandchildren: David (Tara), Adam, Leah (Evan), Rebecca, William, Leyna (Laudy), Julia (Adrian), Sarah, Jane, Jacob (Emma), Hannah (Paul), Shawna (Justin), Sabrina, Andrea (Daniel), Warrick (Katie), Erica and Deven;&nbsp;7 great-grandchildren; sister Pearl Sharpe; sisters-in-law: Marjorie Smith, Viola Bemister and Susie Mercer; brothers-in-law: Ken Smith and Winston (June) Smith; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Vera (nee Locke), son Wayne, step-daughter Koreen Reid, grandson Aaron Bradbury, parents William and Deborah Randell, brothers Chesley, Willis, Herbert, Whitfield, Clarence, Len, Doug and Murray, sisters Margaret, Madeline, Elizabeth and Eunice. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street with the Very Rev. Baxter Park officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Maintenance Fund or to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice.
