GWENDOLYN J. DAWE 1926 - 2008 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gwendolyn Dawe announce her passing on Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her eleven children: Henry (Anne Schmitz), Joan Parry (Gwynfor), Wycliffe (Christine), Sharon Newman (Clarence), Donna Park( Rod), Beverley Walsh ( Mark), Derek (Patty), Judy Brake (Byron), David (Janet), Sandra McCready (Paul) and Debbie Dawe (Gilles Lepage) ; grandchildren: Joel Dawe, Nicolas and Gwynfor Parry, Glenn, Sherry, Kelly, Michael and Michelle Dawe, Jeffrey and Jennifer Newman, Trina Parsons, Matthew and Jason Walsh, Nicole and Amanda Dawe, Christopher, Stephen and Danielle Brake, Gregory and Stephanie Dawe, Samantha and Alyssa McCready, Megan White; seven great-grandchildren; sister: Agnes Morgan; brothers and sisters -in-law: Mabel Hurley, Jim Caines, Emmie (Grenfell) Boone, Doug Reccord; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband, Laurier, April 15, 1997; son-in-law: Tony Parsons, 1982 and great-granddaughter: Jersey Rae Dawe. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22nd , at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive. Majors Ronald and Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund.
