George Joseph</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Burgeo, NL</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Sept. 24, 1937 – Nov, 18, 2017</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>George Joseph Childs</strong> announce his peaceful passing with family by his side on Saturday November 18th, 2017 at Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo, at the age of 80 years. <span style="font-family: Calibri;">Leaving to mourn with so many fond and loving memories his wife, Myrtle Childs (Skinner), children: Garry (Cynthia), Joyce (Dan), Joe (Pam), Janet (Keith),  his two grandchildren, Dakota and Benjamin, his brother: Cecil, sister: Hannah, brother-in-law: Allan Skinner and sisters-in-law: Rita Skinner and Janet Petite and a very large number of neices, nephews other relatives and a large circle of friends.<span style="font-family: Calibri;">He was predeceased by his parents George & Berthania Childs, his sisters Martha Durnford and Jessie Skinner and his daughter Donna Childs .<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The family would like to express our sincere gratitude of the entire staff of the Calder Health Care Center for their kindness and compassionate care during his time there. Visitation will take place from St. John the Evangelist in Burgeo on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 22nd at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Community Cemetery Burgeo.</span></span></span></span></p>
