It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Allan Goudie announce his passing on March 11th, 2006 at St. Claire's Hospital in St. John's, at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Virginia, Michael and Curtis; grandchildren: Sherri and Amy, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Rhoda; sisters: Carol, Stella and Florence; brother Bruce and nephews: Eugene and Roland. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Monday and Tuesday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetic Association of Canada.
