<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">It is with great sadness that the family of the&nbsp;late Leander R. Wicks of Jackson&rsquo;s Arm, NL announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Hospital on December 12, 2017 at the age of 73.&nbsp;Left to Mourn with fond and loving memories is his spouse of 30 years Scenie Hurley; his step children, Roxanne, Edgar, Stacey, Roy and Tanya; his brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Shirley Wicks; and a large circle of nephews, nieces, other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Vincent and Mildred Wicks; brother Bernard Wicks. As expressions of sympathy family and friends may make donations to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice. Family and friends may visit the website at <a href="http://www.fillatre.ca/">www.fillatre.ca</a> to sign the guestbook, leave messages of condolence. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Homes Ltd. in Deer Lake, NL.</p>
