MOORES ELSIE MARIE CORNER BROOK, NL (Formerly of Red Bay, Labrador) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Moores announce her passing on Friday, March 17th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with ALS. Elsie was 53 years old. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband: Richmond Moores, Red Bay; three children: Gillian, Corner Brook, Trina (Drew) Hitchens, Oxbow, SK, and Matthew, Corner Brook; mother: Mrs. Hilda Stone, Corner Brook; sisters: Irene Antle (Tom), Olive Lynch (Tom), Maxine Reid (Alvin), Corner Brook, Trudy Rozon (Darryl), Nova Scotia; brothers: Ellis Stone (Dallas), Red Bay and Ira Stone (Sylvia), Corner Brook; special friend: Aunt Rose Fowler, Red Bay, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father George Stone. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m.., from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20th at 2:00 p.m. David Mitchell officiating.
