ERIC WINSTON HARRIS HEATHERTON, NL DECEMBER 2, 1929 - FEBRUARY 28, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Harris announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, February 28th at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Regina, son: Wendell, Heatherton; daughters: Laurie (Marcel) Matchem, ON; Rebecca Harris, Kayla Harris, Heatherton; brother Cecil (Mary) Harris; sister Alice Brown as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Rebecca Harris; brothers: George Bill, Peter, and Fred. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Robinson’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
