It is with great sadness that the family of the late Flora Louise Thomas announce her passing at the Deer Lake Manor, Deer Lake on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Graham (Rhonda); grandchildren: Jamie and Kaitlin; stepchildren: Beaton (Lucie), Wavey (Melvin) Cross, Jim (Anne), Golda (Derrick) Parsons, Linda (Jerry) Buckley; stepdaughter in law Irene. Also leaving to mourn special nephew and nieces: Max (Irene) Wheeler, Dorothy (William) Ralph, Sophie (Harvey) Diamond, Evelyn (Everett) Davis, Joan (Phil) Gaulton; and a wide circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James, stepsons: Garland and Wesley (Vivian). Service will be held on Monday 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating, interment to follow service at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, June 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Alzheimer Society of NL.
