The family of Lavinia Bishop announce her peaceful passing at the Interfaith Home on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the age of 94. Predeceased in 1988 by Harvey, her loving husband of 57 years, children Calvin, Raymond and Norma Warren. She will be deeply missed by her children Harvey and wife Shirley, Vera and husband Robert Sexton, Doris and Husband Maxwell Howell, 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, special niece Sandra Winsor, the devoted staff of the Interfaith Home, where she resided for 10 years, and a large circle of family and friends. Family will receive friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Friday, April 7 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street on Saturday, April 8 at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
