ANSTEY Pearl Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Anstey announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, April 5th, 2006 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joan (Tom) Chaulk, Sylvia (Dave) Brown and Max (Michelle). Grandchildren: Donna (Keith) Warren, Dianne (Brian) Vincent, Joanne (Kevin) McCarthy and Troy Anstey. Great-grandchildren: Adam & Chad Warren, Grant & Myles Vincent, David & Daniel McCarthy. Sister Shirley (Ralph) Read. Brothers-in-law: Claude (Lucy) Anstey and Clarence Rose. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Max, December 1996, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 9th at 2:30 PM from the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive with Majors Gary & Sharon Cooper officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be to the Salvation Army Temple or to a charity of one's choice.
