Obituary of Rita Maude Sheaves

SHEAVES Rita Maude Port Aux Basques, NL Passed away on Friday, April 7th, 2006 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, Rita Maude Sheaves, in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her children: Sylvia Skeard (Ivan), Keith (Christina), Madelyn Lomond (George); grandchildren: Cathy Moore (Rick), Michelle Deveau (Glen), Trudy MacInnis (Stephan), Wendy Pickerem (Murray), Sonya Simms (Jeff), Tyson Sheaves, Steven Lomond; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Chad, Sara, Ryley, Madyson, Abby and Mollie; sister Bernice Osmond (Albert); brothers: Herbert Stone and Maxwell Stone (Carrie), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Annie Stone (nee Strickland), husband Airman Joseph, 1991; children: Franklin and Ruby; sister Dorothy. Visitation was held on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service was held on Monday, April 10th at 2:00 pm from Wesley United Church with Rev. Patricia Ritchie officiating. Interment followed at the United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
