POWELL James Parker Corner Brook, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Powell announce his passing on Thursday, April 13th, 2006 at his family residence in Corner Brook at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 58 years Eileen (Gough), children: Linda (Frank) Snook, Edmonton, Alberta; Jim (Noreen) Powell, Fredericton, NB; Diane (Bob Marshall) Powell, Corner Brook; David (Penney Matchim) Powell, St. John's; and Marilyn (Clarence) Earle, Little Rapids. 8 grandchildren: Robert & Leslie Powell, John & Thomas O'Brien, Sean & Marie Powell, Steve & Ashley Earle, 5 great-granddaughters: Grace, Chelsea, Emma, Chloe and Sophie, brother Carl Powell, St. John's. As well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Darius and Julia Powell, sister Jean, brothers Clayton and Ellis Powell. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook Saturday from the hours of 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 17th at 2:00 PM from First United Church with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium.
