CLARKE MELVIN E. CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin Clarke announce his passing on Friday, April 21st, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Lillian; three children: Kim Warren and her husband Gary, Corner Brook; Michael and his wife Judith and David, Ontario; grandchildren: Hailie, Ashley, Christopher, Taylor and Rory; sisters: Marie Samms, Ruby Wiseman, Lorraine Brown (Henry), Catherine Haldane (Nelson); brothers: Gorden, Steve (Mabel), Garland (Joyce), Hayward, Harry, Don and Jerry (Vicki); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Bernard Clarke and parents: Elsie and William Clarke. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9:00, and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24th at 10:00 A.M. from St. Mary The Virgin Church, Curling, Rev. Canon Gordon Druggett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
