PARSONS Arthur Churchill Jeffreys, NL 1917 - 2006 (Royal Navy Veteran 1939 - 1945) It is with great sadness the family of the late Arthur Parsons announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday, May 16th, 2006 at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond memories: loving friend Minnie Hulan, Stephenville; daughter Patricia (Ron) Newhook, Corner Brook; grand-daughter Terri MacAuley (John Pumphrey), Highlands; great-grand-daughter Ryley Pumphrey; sister-in-law Mildred Parsons, Jeffreys, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Gwendolyn; brother Ellis Parsons and parents James & Jane Parsons. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in Jeffreys on Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 10-12 noon, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Stewart Bellows officiating. Interment will follow from the Anglican Cemetery, St. Davids. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
