JARDINE CLIFFORD H. CORNER BROOK, NL April 2, 1917 - May 29, 2006 Passed away peacefully in his 90th year after a brief stay at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara; children: Bruce, Karen Holyoke (Ralph) and Richard (Kathleen); brother-in-law: Ray Hebden; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The youngest of seven, he was predeceased by his parents: Harvey and May; brothers Hubert, Ralph and Arthur; sisters: Emily, Dorothy and Phyllis. Giving a lifetime of dedication to family, church, community and country, he remained a member of the 166th (NFLD) Field Regiment, The Royal Canadian Legion, and the Masonic Order, Corner Brook Lodge. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses or to the charity of ones choice. The guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made in person or online at www.fillatre.ca.
