Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred Hilliard (nee Allen) announce her passing on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Hayward Hilliard, December 29, 2003, and three children; John, Maisie and Lloyd. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Doreen Hollett (Charles); special granddaughter Sharon Hollett, grandchildren: Shawn (Toby), Cheryl (Gord), Michael (Kimberly), Paul (Lisa), Darrell (Donna), Tracey (Joey); great-grandchildren: Christopher, Scott, Krystal, Ashley, Andrea, Brandon, Alissa; sisters; Eva Leggo, Nina Rock (Thomas), Lena Simms, Audrey Collins, Sophie Bartlett, brothers: Robert and John (Marion) Allen, and numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 29th at 2:00p.m. from the Memorial United Church, Cuirling, Mrs. Mary Brenson officiating. The interment will follow at the family plot in the Memorial United Church Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling street on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As expression of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to charity of ones choice.
