DENNIS ANITA LYDIA IRISH TOWN, NL Anita Dennis (nee Parsons) passed away suddenly in her 57th year on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at St. Claire's Mercy Hospital, St. John's. Anita leaves behind her loving husband Fred, daughters: Paula Cabot (Bryce), Jeanne Piercey (Marty) and the joys of her life, grandchildren: Benjamin, Daniel and Dillon Cabot, and Nathan Piercey. She also leaves to mourn brothers: Ken (Rhoda), Cliff, Melvin (Marg), Bob (Mary), Bill (Priscilla), Irving, Fred (Lorraine) and Carson (Bernette) ; sisters: Betty Jackson, Ann Knott (Clarey), Irene Flatt (Glenn), Lil Batstone (Bob); sisters-in-law: Eva Wight (Howard), Elizabeth Dennis, Shirley White, Joan Ellsworth, Ada Goosney (Calvin), Doris Snow (Gord), Ruby Thoemke (Jim), Gwen Dennis and Wanda Gushue, and a large circle of family, friends and colleagues. Anita was predeceased by parents Winnifred and Stuart Parsons and in-laws Jean and Arthur Dennis. Anita's spirit will live on through the wonderful memories of those who knew her. The family welcomes the public at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook on Monday, June 19th and Tuesday, June 20th between 2 to 4: 00 P.M. and 7 to 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held at St. John The Evangelist Cathedral, Main Street on Wednesday, June 21st at 2:00 P.M., Archbishop Stuart Payne and Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to \Anita Dennis Memorial Fund\ which has been set up at the Bank of Montreal on Caribou Road or to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation in memoriam of Anita Dennis.
