Obituary of Joseph Edwards

EDWARDS Joseph 1920 - 2006 Harbour Le Cou Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, June 14th, 2006, Joseph Edwards in his 85th year. He was the son of the late Henry and Minnie (nee Shepherd) Edwards. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his wife of 60 years, Ruth; three sons: Wayne (Daphne), Gerald (Maxine), Rick (Wanda); daughters: Linda Horwood (George), Pauline Kearley (Travis); 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Glendon Edwards; sister Jeannie Austin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by two sons: Barry and Gary and brother Gordon. Visitation took place at the family residence in Harbour Le Cou on Thursday and Friday. Funeral services took place on Saturday, June 17th at 11:00 am from St. Michael's Anglican Church with Reverend Ken Abbott officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
