MARKS GERALD PATRICK CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Marks announce his passing on Friday, June 23rd, 2006 at the Health Science Centre, St. John's at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his beloved wife of 54 years, Alice (nee Hynes); daughter: Regina (Austin Pittman), Corner Brook; eight sons: William (Yvonne), Corner Brook, Patrick (Clara), Hamilton, ON, Edward (Deborah), Corner Brook, Thomas (Allison), Grand Falls, Gerald (Catherine), Michael (Bonnie), Christopher and Kenneth, Corner Brook; 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; brothers: Walter (Frances) Marks, Corner Brook and Don Marks, Halifax, NS; sister: Caroline (Carrie) Whelan, Corner Brook; sister-in-law: Joan Marks, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; Hedley and Mary Josephine Marks; brothers; Patrick, George, James and Jack; sisters: Julia and Anne. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 27th at 10:30 A.M. from All Hallows Church, Humber Road with Father Ambrosr Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada or to the charity of ones choice.
