Passed peacefully away at the Labrador Health Centre on Saturday, June 24th, 2006 in the presence of his loving family, after a courageous battle with Parkinson Disease. Amos Woodward of Happy Valley Goose Bay, at the age of 74 years. Amos, formally of Boat Harbour on the Northern Penisula will be forever loved by his wife Keziah, daughters: Mene (Chuch) Conley, Juanita (Sterling)Peyton, Hazreth (Harry) Mugford, Wavey (Terry) Michelin; 6 grandchildren:Tricia, Chad and Brent Peyton, Sean and Shane Mugford, Ryan Conley; great granddaughter Emily Jean Peyton; 2 brothers: Wilfred (Dulcie) Woodward and James (Nina) Woodward. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay Monday 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay followed by the interment at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
