It is with great sadness that the family of Betty White announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, July 2, 2004 at age of 71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Hollie of53 years; Five children: Dianne, Todd, Darla (Eric), Dean (Lisa) and Darren (Nancy); four grandchildren: Ian, Allison, Darrell and Jason, four step-grandchildren: Ingrid, Andrew, Philip and Stephen, Brother Ian (Rita) Bridger, Monie (George), and Joan (Vincent), her loving dog Patches, as well a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Archibald and Winnifred Bridger, parents-in-law Herbert and Joyce White, brother Gerald, sisters; Minnie, Vivian and Doris, sisters-in-law; Neatha, Geneva and Florence. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Monday, July 5th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street. Captains Scott and Michelle Rideout officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening and Sunday. As expression of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA, The Salvation Army Citadel or the charity of one choice.
