DUVAL John Charles Stephenville Crossing, NL December 4th, 1920 - August 5th, 2006 				 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Duval announce his passing on Saturday, August 5th, 2006 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Gertrude, Ontario, Marie (Claude) McFatrodge, Stephenville, Mary (Jim) Alexander, Stephenville Crossing and Clara Jane (Frank) Zelanka, Ontario; sons: John Charles (Kim), Ontario, Joseph (Rosie Stride), St. George’s and Roderick (Lerina), Stephenville Crossing; sister Clara Sharpe, Stephenville Crossing; brother Albert, Stephenville Crossing. 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Hilda, 2002. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Monday from the hours of 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 AM from the Church of the Assumption, Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerald Patry officiating. Interment to follow at Brook Street Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
