Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 Mary “Maggie” Magdalene Ford of Port aux Basques, at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn sister Regis Battiste and family; sisters-in-law: Kathleen LeRiche and family, Georgina LeRiche and family, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Edgar Ford (1991); parents Sarah and James LeRiche; sisters: Murial (Arthur) Parsons, Elizabeth (Leo) Bowdridge; brothers: Alexander Israel LeRiche, Raymond LeRiche, Benjamin LeRiche; niece Janet Searl and brother-in-law Willard Battiste. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques. The Funeral Service was held at Wesley United Church on Saturday, August 12th at 2:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Ritchie. Interment followed at Wesley United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
