It is with great sadness that the family of the late Llewellyn Decker announce his passing on Wednesday, August 16th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. Llewellyn served in the Canadian Armed Forces, spending time in Germany and was a member of the Queen`s Own Rifle in Alberta. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughter: Lenora Safi, Corner Brook; sons: Brad, Halifax, Rodney, Parson`s Pond and Rhinold and family in Germany; nine precious grandchildren: Fallon, Stephanie, Jordan, Joshua, Chantel, Brendon, Brianna, Abigail and Jennifer; one great grandchild: Cameron; sisters: Eva Bannister (John, deceased) and Beulah Payne (Amos); brothers: Gordon (Dulcie), Leonard (Florence, deceased) and Cyril (Phyllis); his ex-wife; Geri Clarke Decker, Halifax, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Charlotte Decker. Friends may visit St. Peter`s Anglican church, Parsons Pond on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19th, at 12 noon. Rev. James Pratt officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook.
