PAYNE JOHN SAMUEL COX`S COVE, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Samuel Payne announce his passing on Saturday, August 26th, 2006 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 57 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Olga (nee Green); daughters: Carol-Anne Barnes (Monty), Cambridge, ON, Lisa Park (Paul), Kitchener, On and son: Jeremy (Alicia), Mississauga, ON; special nephew: Stacey Payne, Cox`s Cove; grandchildren: Laura, Jessica, Alexandria, Sebastian, Johnny, Sasha; one great grandchild: Brooklyn; sisters: Dinah (Charles) Brake, Meadows, Bernice Whalen, Pasadena, Mirley (Foster) Banks, Gillams, Dulcie (Frank) Sheppard, Cox`s Cove, Sharon (Spencer) Osmond, Devon, AB, Rosalind (Clyde) Hillier, Cox`s Cove, Thelma (Roy) Cook, Sarnia, ON, and Veda (Randy) Brake, Meadows; one brother: David Payne, Cox`s Cove, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Frances; sisters: Virginia and Judy and brother Ulric. Friends may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox`s Cove on Sunday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. Nicholas Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to the Wellness Program, Cox's Cove.
