HENRY (NED) CARPENTER CORNER BROOK, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of he late Henry (Ned) Carpenter announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, August 31st, 2006 at the 6th floor of the Western Memorial Regional hospital at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 56 years Elsa (nee Dingwell), he will be lovingly remembered by his children: David, Corner Brook; Susan (Keith) Rowsell, Pasadena, two grandchildren: Michael Rowsell, Calgary; Heather Rowsell, Pasadena, one darling great-granddaughter Haley Rae, grampies little angel. Sister Lottie Patey, St. Anthony; brothers-in-law: George (Joyce) Dingwell; Corner Brook; Neil (Lillian) Dingwell, St. John’s; Len Halloway, Corner Brook; sister-in-law Christina Sweetapple, Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edith (nee Ollerhead) & Henry, brothers Max, Jim, William, Aubrey, Tobias, sisters Stella Thompson and Jane Patey. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 3rd at 2:00 PM from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Canon Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the 5th and 6th floor Enhancement Committee, WMR Hospital or to a charity of one’s choice.
