AGNES ANN PORTER (Nee Terry) Irishtown, NL October 7th , 1945 - September 13th , 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Agnes Porter announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 13th, 2006 at the age of 60 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories 3 daughters: Mary (Joshua Park), Cox’s Cove, Dorothy (Verdon Crane), Gillams, Tracy (Howard Park Jr.), McIvers; 6 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sabrina Allen), Kayla, Kimberly (Cary Curtis), Candice, Michael, Cody; 1 great-grandchild Joshua; her loving and devoted companion Andrew Gushue, and his children: Michael, Kevin, Joanne, Betty-lou, Glen, and their families; brothers: James Terry (Ida), Gerard Terry (Mae), Cyril Terry (Marilyn), all of Irishtown; sisters: Jane (Joseph Clark), Irishtown, Mame (The late Junior Hann), Summerside, Josephine (Frank Hunt), Irishtown; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Edgar Porter (Aug 2, 1987), parents Hughie and Mary Terry; siblings: Michael and Mary Terry and parents-in-law Dorman and Frances Porter. Friends may visit St. Brendan’s RC Church in Irishtown all day Friday. The Funeral Service will take place at All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, Corner Brook, on Saturday, September 16th, at 10:30 a.m., Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Summerside. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations are graciously accepted by the family.
