EFFIE MILDRED BALDWIN Corner Brook, NL 1913 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Effie Baldwin announce her passing at the Interfaith Home, Corner Brook, on Sunday, September 24th, 2006 at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her 13 children: Isabel (George) Buckle, Stella (Leo) Miner, Elizabeth (Raymond) Fortin, Edward (Terry) Baldwin, Evelyn Reader, Verna (Lee) Vautour, Doris (John) Dunne, Alice (Bob) Sansome, Brenda (Ron) Hallett, Ron Baldwin, Rosalind (Gus) Gallahue, Jean (Jim) Keen and JoAnn (Paul) Tulk; 55 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother Clyde (Joan) Hutchings; 2 sisters: Blanche Batson and Vera King; sister-in-law Nora Hutchings, along with a large circle of other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Baldwin (1988), parents Isabel and Alfred Hutchings; 2 sisters: Sarah Stickland and Frances Teller and her 3 brothers: Garfield, George and Lewis. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from Humber United Church, Clarence Street, on Wednesday, September 27th at 2:00 pm, Reverend Kathy Brett officiating. Interment will follow from Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
