ROBERTS Harold Robert Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Roberts announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 24th, 2006 at the age of 80 years. In his early years, Harold worked for Atlantic Gypsum Plant, and later in Housekeeping at Western Memorial Regional Hospital for 30 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: sister: Effie (Henry) Smith, Yarmouth, NS; sister-in-law: Lillian Roberts, Huntington, Quebec; 29 nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Priscilla Roberts; five brothers: John, Arthur, George, James and Gordon Roberts; two sisters: Beatrice Childs and Mary Anne Gilbert. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Monday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the Church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The VON or the Newfoundland and Labrador Heart and Stroke Foundation.
