WILLIAM DOUG BUTT Corner Brook, NL 1919 - 2006 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Doug Butt announce his passing on Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Walter, Clayton (Gail), Elmo (Gaye), Marie, Wilfred, Kevin (Charlene) and Eric. Grandchildren: Ken, Michael, Cecile, Kelly, Samantha, Lindsey and Daniel. Great-grandchildren: Emily, Joshua and Evan all of Ontario. Brothers: Gideon, Scotland and Baron (Josephine), Corner Brook. Sisters Nellie Pike, Corner Brook, Hilda Hewlett, Deer Lake and Rowena (Allan) Benson, Grand Falls - Windsor. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian (nee George), parents William and Adelia (nee Gillam), brothers Clarence, Hayward and Augustus, sisters Bonnie and Alice. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Saturday from the hours of 7-9 PM and on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2nd at 2:00 PM from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
