RONALD THOMAS SMITH Deer Lake, NL July 4, 1937 - October 12, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Thomas Smith announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Thursday, October 12th, 2006 at the age of 69 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his sons: Lindell (Nonia), Deer Lake and Ronald Jr. (Maureen), Thunder Bay, ON; grandchildren: Stephanie, Katelin, both of Deer Lake and Stephen, AB; brothers: Calvin (Clementine), St. John’s and Roland (Dorothy) Courage, Hearts Content; sister Shirley (Hubert) Prince, ON; brothers-in-law: George (Eliza) Tobin, Corner Brook and Nicholas Tobin, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Alice Ewing, Corner Brook and Florence Tobin, Stephenville; special friends Diane Parsons and Soloman Yetman, both of Deer Lake, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Anne; parents Thomas and Dinah; brothers: Soloman and Norman; brothers-in-law: Ralph, Vincent, Joseph, Fredrick and David Tobin and mother & father-in-law Anne and John Tobin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, October 15th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, Reverend John Meade officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
